Frequently Asked Questions
A child needs to understand and follow instructions to perform most in-class activities. As a result, only children 5+ years are eligible for the Brighter Minds training program.
We recommend a child should practice around 30 minutes a day.
There is no difference between in-person and virtual mode in terms of results, effectiveness and content.
Virtual sessions are open for entire Canada and In-Person sessions are open for Edmonton and surrounding area.
In-Person mode provides an opportunity for social interaction to both child and facilitator, whereas the Virtual mode offers the convenience to be at home and still be able to attend from remote locations.
Please try to ensure that your child attends every session of its batch, as this can affect the effectiveness of their experience in the program. If a child misses a class due to unavoidable circumstances, we can arrange to make it up in future batches.
We use a structured assessment record and evaluation report for each child to measure progress and success.
Parents would start noticing progress in subtle ways like better academic performance, regularity in routine, emotional stability, better emotional intelligence, boosted confidence level, better memory and focus, better understanding of priorities, better handling of challenging situations and more.
Yes, our “Restart” program is designed for adults 35 and over.
